Here.
Hello astralplane! Thanks for following me. :) I adore your photos! - namesake
Hi! No problem! I love your posts! Keep them coming!
And yes, thank you too. :)
Hey, was wondering, what univ. do you go to and what’s your course? I rly rly rly love your photography! I’ve been a visitor of yours ever since your blogspot days and I followed you in Twitter a long time ago :)
Hi! :) Wow, thank you! It makes me extremely happy to hear you love my photography!
I am currently taking up Pscyhology in a university here in Pampanga. :)
Hi Cristy! What’s the font that you use for your watermark? I’m making my own right now and I don’t want to use the same font as you because people might point out that I’m copying yours. :P
Haha. Okay. I use Gill Sans MT. But I don’t really mind if people use the same font I’m using. I’m not the person who created it anyway. :)
Yeah, I know, I think you already told me before. :) Is it weird that I want to shift to Psych, too? Hehe. I’m still not decided on it, though. How many years did you take CS, btw? And why did you shift to Psych? Haha, I have so many questions, sorry. :P
Just one semester. Haha. During my first semester, I was, well, medyo nabarkada. Consequently, I incurred failing grades and my parents immediately sent me back home. I applied to one of the schools here and had no idea if I should stay with CS or what. I chose Psychology because I didn’t know what to take up. I didn’t like any course. I was extremely indecisive. After a few years studying Psychology, I guess I can say I’m enjoying it (even though my mind’s telling me I should’ve taken up Civil Engineering!). :D
So, anyway, you want to shift to Psych? It’s a good course, but so is CS. Ask yourself a hundred times if you really want to shift. Personally, unless you’re unhappy, I’d suggest you stay with your present course. But it’s still up to you. Good luck. :)
What course are you taking up again? :) -Mayee
Hi Mayeeee! I’m taking up Psychology. You’re taking up Computer Science, right? That was my course before I shifted to Psych! Haha. Wala lang. :D
please update more often!! i love your pictures, you know!
Aww, thank you! I’m trying hard, dear!! :)

yes, you’re right! i do reside in metro manila :) you work for your dad, that must be awesome! ha ha. oh, by the way… i’m sorry if I make your freedback form like a chat place or something.
The only awesome part is receiving the salary! HAHAHA. But seriously, yeah, I guess it’s awesome because I have no classes this semester so apparently I’ve got nothing to do so my dad insisted that I work for him while waiting for my classes to start this November so I agreed so now I get extra money so now I’m happy like a child. You get what I mean? No? Yes? Okay. Whatever. :P
Anyway, thanks for your questions. I enjoyed answering them, actually. :)
My secret is I love you. Hi, I`m just kidding. I`m Elisa, I like your photos, the obvious reason why I followed you back in…I forgot. I think you should post more of your photography. :) Hee, take care. -thunderpopcola
Hi, Elisa! :) Thank you! I will! And you should post more of your photos too (and more awesome stuff)! :D
How old are you?

no. actually. i was hoping it would be just for fun. i’ve never had any experience before, but i think you make really good photos. and i’d like to try modeling out. - remote
Thank you! <3 And thank you for considering me to shoot you! But to be honest, even though I badly want to do a photo shoot right now, I just can’t. I’m currently working for my dad which makes me pretty busy. Oh, and I’m guessing you live in Metro Manila? I reside in Pampanga. :|
san makakabili ng vitamin water dito? sa robinson’s puro vitawater lang eh. thanks :) -yello
I buy them at duty-free shops, particularly at Duty Free Fiesta Mall, Paranaque City and Parkson Duty Free, Clark Field, Pampanga. I don’t think they are available in our local supermarkets. :/

i want to see a picture of yourself. where they are? -maria
Have you tried visiting my blog? A few photos of myself are posted there. If you haven’t seen them, here’s one (I’m the one holding the camera). That was taken last May. But just recently I cut my fringe. So I’m not really sure if I still look exactly like myself in that photo.
I bought it online (http://sulit.com.ph). The last time I went to Hidalgo, I saw a few stores selling Canon AE-1. I’m not certain how much they cost but you could ask when you go there. You can also try searching on eBay or Multiply. You might find some sellers there too. :)
What camera do you use? How do you make the vintage effect of colors?
I use different types of cameras but I shoot with Canon 1000D and Canon AE-1 most often.
None yet, but I’m on the verge of buying one.

God, I sound lame.
Reading the previous post, you’re one lucky kid with the 4k Canon AE1 package. :D Where did you get it? I’m not really sure where I could find something like that in Hidalgo, booo. - Love, RandomKid.I bought it online (http://sulit.com.ph). Are you referring to the color effect in this photo? If so, then I did it by adjusting the color balance, levels, curves, hue & saturation, etc.
you have a film scanner at home? :)None yet, but I’m on the verge of buying one.

Tell me about yer ideal man. It would be better if you’ll put it on a list! :)) Hehehe -mrai
This question actually made me laugh. Hahaha. Honestly, I don’t believe there is an ideal man out there. I mean, no one’s perfect, people change, our preferences change. Nevertheless, here’s a very short list of traits/qualities that I find attractive in a guy:
So yeah.
Pwede bang mag-model sayo? -remote
Are you serious? Can you send me some of your photos? Your portfolio perhaps? :)

You-know-who: Have you watched Taken? What do you think about it? It's awesomefest!! For me, at least :)
I haven't, but oh my God, the trailer is epic! I'm going to download it right now! Thank you for sharing!!! :D
You-know-who: I remember when you were trying to send us your photos. Where are they? Haha! :)
Oh, I was able to send them to the post office already! Finally! After ten years! Hahaha
Abby: Hi Cristy. I'm in your blog links. :P I have a question: Do you work with .RAW files? I have a 1000D as well if you may remember, and whenever I upload them and work on them in Photoshop, I always use the JPEG files. The reason being I don't know how to work with .RAW yet. Why is it better working with .RAW than JPEG? I've read a couple of articles on it but I never seem to understand. Thanks for your help.
Hi Abby! I haven't worked with RAW files yet. Well, I tried shooting in RAW before but I wasn't able to open the files because I didn't have the required software. Choosing which format is better to use depends on one's photographic needs & goals. RAW may be tedious and time-consuming, but one advantage is that it gives you complete control over your images. If memory capacity is not an issue to you and if you like spending hours twiddling your images, then RAW could be for you. On the other hand, if you don't have much time, if memory capacity is an issue, if you shoot hundreds of images at a time, then stick with JPEG. Ultimately, just ask yourself what your goals are as a photographer and decide from there. Hope I was able to help! Haha. Good luck. :)

badoodledoo: do you experience lag with your 1000D? ..cause with nikon, i experience it a lot. :[ ..like when ..naka focus na and everything tapos pag click mo.. di siya mag cclick/magttake ng shot. gets? :)) haha
Yes, sometimes. But I think it's just my camera trying to meter and auto-focus. To avoid that, you can try setting the focus and exposure first by pressing the shutter halfway down and fully pressing it when the right moment has come. :)

^_^: Where di you buy your Digital SLR? In hidalgo also?
Yeah. :)
badoodledoo: wow. :D nice line up, kaso i don't think you'll be needing the 24 - 70 once you have the 24- 105 :P ..ang mahal kaya X))) nahhh.. go go go! rich kid ka naman e :))))
I'm torn between the two because both are really excellent (and yes, expensive too!). Well, I have two options: a) to improve my photography skills first and find my style and see which lens will be more suitable for my needs OR b) rob a bank to get shitloads of money then buy the entire Canon lens line up. The latter sounds funnnnn! :P
Yeah. :)

badoodledoo: would your next lens be an 18-200 standard zoom? :]
Haha. I'm not sure which lens I'm going to buy next, but I'm totally lusting after these three: Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM, Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM Lens and Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L USM. :D

Nyah: Are all the pictures that you upload here and on your Flickr yours? Or some of them are from other sites?
They are all mine, why? I don't use other people's photos on any of my sites.

Hi! I'm really sorry but I only follow a select few on Twitter. I might not be able to keep up with everyone's updates if I followed everyone back. Hope you understand. Sorry.

kaye: How much is your film slr, and what model?
Canon AE-1. Four thousand bucks. The package includes one body and three lenses so I was really fortunate to get it a very cheap price. :)

yel: Last question! :p Can you give me some tips on buying film slr? im planning to buy one :)
I'm not sure what tips to give you since I've only bought a film SLR once, but let me share with you why I bought one. The only reason I bought a film SLR is to have the exact same camera that was used in one of my favorite movies! I deeply fell in love with the movie that I went as far as finding out the model of the camera and scouring the web for sellers of the same model. I thought I was never going to find one since it was manufactured in the late '70's, but as luck would have it, I found a seller and immediately bought it. I only asked him if it was still working and in good condition and that was just it. Haha. So if you're going to buy one (I'm assuming it's your first time to buy an SLR and you're going to buy a used one) be extra careful and check the condition of the shutter and the lens. Look if there are any cracks or loose parts and see if it's clean inside. Also, you may ask if it has a manual or if it can be downloaded from the web 'cause you will need it to learn basically how to use it. Good luck! :)
What are the reasons you chose to purchase your Canon EOS 1000D? Kindly elaborate. (: Thanks in advance, been canvassing DLSR's lately.
Well, I chose it because I think it has all the features I will ever need. Some of the features of 450d which are not present in 1000d are, in my opinion, not really necessary for starters. I personally think that it's better to invest on good lenses. I'm pretty sure that I will change my camera body in the future, but lenses will stay longer. Hope I was able to help. Haha! Good luck! :)
